My Story . . .
Hi,
My name is Kevin, and I started the Remodel Upgrade site because I love teaching people about home remodel. My extensive knowledge was learned from growing up in a family that have worked in construction for my entire lifetime. My wife and I bought our first home in 2022, which was a fixer upper from the 1970s.
My father was a general contractor for years before starting his prehung door business. Several of my uncles would take my cousins and me to their job sites many times as we were growing up. They taught us so much about how homes are built and much more.
I went through a learning curve when building the skills I now have. I want to share with you what I have learned over the years so you don’t make the same mistakes.

My First Home!
After my wife and I bought our home I decided to film the projects I’m working on. I thought this would be a good way to show my family and friends what we are doing on our home.
This turned into a great way for me to share my knowledge with anyone who wants it, like yourself.
I enjoy finding new ways to put my knowledge into easy to understand pieces of content.
I believe its important to love the home you live in. That’s my goal with my home, and I want to help you have that passion as well.
